NEW YORK, New York (June 13, 2007) — It’s happy birthday wishes to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as the trend-setting twins turned 21 on Wednesday.
It seems like just yesterday we first met the tiny twins on “Full House,” and now all of a sudden they’re rich stylin’ socialites who are finally able to have a drink. Well, legally anyways.
The girls have grown up in front of our eyes from their diaper-clad TV debut in 1987 to chic sirens of style who have been propelled into the world of superstardom.
And you have to hand it to the girls who, as pint-sized entertainment prodigies, turned their likeness into a billion-dollar empire through home videos, movies and even video games.
It was a slow progression for the girls to find their individual style, capped in 2004 when Mary-Kate went red while Ashley stayed blond.
But as a tandem, the girls defined the boho-chic fashion craze.
So from “Full House” to full grown, Access Hollywood wishes a very happy birthday to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen!
