Matthew McConaughey: Magic Mike Sequel Is ‘Legitimately Brewing’

Ready for more male stripping? Matthew McConaughey is!

The “Magic Mike” star says a sequel to the 2012 male stripper movie is coming together.

“I know it’s something that’s legitimately brewing,” the actor told MTV News, explaining that he’s down to play to Dallas again.

“In the right way [I would come back],” he explained. “It would be so much fun, but I would only be able to revisit Dallas if I really go, ‘OK, that’s what he would be doing’… I’d have to keep him the same tone.”

The actor is also open to seeing the movie head to the Great White Way – but would he star in the stage version?

“That’s just a great idea. It should go to Broadway,” he told MTV. “I’ll probably be a spectator. I don’t know, there’s good money in Broadway if you get a show that really takes off.”
