Maureen McCormick Takes On Miley & Billy Ray Cyrus: Part II

Yesterday, Maureen “Marcia Brady” McCormick made her debut as an Access Hollywood guest correspondent, sitting down to interview Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus. Today, we bring you Part II of that interview, in which Maureen learned that if you mess with Miley, you’re going to have to deal with daddy.

“Does the paparazzi drive you crazy, knowing that they are following her?” Maureen asked Billy Ray.

“When I see people taking pictures of my little girl I usually try to roll down the window and get a picture of them. I just want to know who is stalking my family,” he said.

Miley laughed at her protective dad’s answer, but in all seriousness, the attention from aggressive paparazzi is troubling for Billy Ray.

Over the last two years, the 15-year-old superstar’s popularity has skyrocketed and with mega-fame comes the need for more and more pictures of the teenager.

Billy revealed to Maureen his unique way of tackling Miley’s paparazzi frenzy.

“I’ll go knock on the window and say, ‘I just wanted to see your face because you are taking pictures of my little girl, you know, just in case.’”

“If I have to hunt you down and kill you, then I know what you look like,” Miley adds, finishing her dad’s sentence.

And he means it. Miley’s witnessed it.

“He went and knocked on someone’s window the other day,” Miley said. “He was like, ‘Dude! Not cool, not cool, man.’ The guy was like, so intense. The guy was like, ‘Sorry Mr. Cyrus,’ but then he just kept going.”

The bond between father and daughter is strong, but Maureen first noticed it by spotting a teeny tiny heart on Billy’s hand. So how did the tattoo come about?

“We were sitting in church,” Billy begins.

“Dad, you never start a tattoo story off with, ‘I was sitting in church,’” Miley laughed. “That’s terrible!”

“This is the truth,” Billy said. “This is the way it happened. We were sitting beside each other and I noticed she just picked up my hand and she drew this little heart on there.

“I had already declared that day was Miley’s day, I said, ‘Anything that you want to do today – it’s your day, you tell me… And then she said, ‘Daddy! I know what I want to do.’ I said ‘What is it?’ She said, ‘Take you to the tattoo parlor.’

“Next thing I know we are driving out there headed for Pasadena on a Sunday afternoon,” Billy Ray laughed.

“Then I took him and got him highlights,” Miley chimed in.

“Did you really?” Maureen asked.

“We came across a place called Wackos,” Miley said.

“Wackos is the only place open on Sunday afternoon,” Billy Ray noted.

“It was like $20 for a whole head,” Miley smiled.

“That was Miley’s day,” Billy Ray said. “She took me to the tattoo parlor and to Wackos for a hairdo.”

“I gave my dad a makeover,” Miley laughed.
