Mel B’s ‘Dancing’ Triumph & Cameron’s Thong Promise

Spice Girl Mel B made a stunning showing on “Dancing with the Stars,” netting a perfect score for her rumba alongside partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, on Monday night.

“It was fantastic,” judge Len Goodman exclaimed after Mel’s sexy dance.

The perfect score was a major triumph for the Spice Girl, who landed in the bottom two earlier this month. She trumped fellow competitor Sabrina Bryan, a leader in the competition, whose fox trot scored just 25 points with the judges. Mel’s rumba also beat out Jennie Garth’s mambo, which scored 27 out of 30.

The lowest score of the night went to Jane Seymour, who received just 22 points for her jive with partner Tony Dovolani.

“Some dances don’t bring out the best in people and I think you’re better than this dance,” a disappointed judge Carrie Ann Inaba told the couple.

Jane, whose season has been met with tragedy including the loss of her mother several weeks ago, kept her spirits up following the comments by encouraging her fans to call in.

Marie Osmond, who scored just 23 points, also asked her fans to keep her in the competition after judge Bruno Tonioli, shot her performance alongside dancer Jonathan Roberts, down.

“You started out like Catherine Zeta Jones and ended up like Captain Zeta cranky,” Bruno said.

As for her health, following last week’s fainting spell, Marie told fans she is “fine,” and “great” and thanked them for their concern over the incident.

Racecar driver, Helio Castroneves, who started off the season on a high note, and fell by the wayside in the last several weeks, impressed the judges with his dance.

“Rebranded, repackaged, regenerated. You’re back in the race,” Bruno said.

“The Latin booty was working over time . . . I’m glad you’re back Helio,” Carrie Ann said.

While he didn’t net one of the top scores of the evening, “All My Children’s” Cameron Mathison, pledged that if he’s kept until the finals, fans may just see him strip down to his skivvies.

“If we make it to the finals, I’ll dance out there in a thong if I have to,” he told co-host Samantha Harris.

The scores for October 29 were:
Sabrina Bryan: 25/30
Jennie Garth: 27/30
Jane Seymour: 22/30
Cameron Mathison: 25/30
Mel B: 30/30
Marie Osmond: 23/30
Helio Castroneves: 29/30
