Melissa Gilbert Suffers ‘Mild Concussion, Whiplash’ On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Melissa Gilbert is on the mend after suffering an injury on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday night.

“I’m alright,” the star Tweeted after being taken to the hospital following her appearance in the ballroom.

During her performance, Melissa hit her hit on the ballroom floor, but did not let on to her injury when she faced the judges.
“Mild concussion and whiplash. Very soon I will be safely home resting and being taken care of,” she continued.

She danced a 22-point scoring paso doble with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who she thanked in a Tweet along with fellow competitor Gavin DeGraw.

”@Maksim you are my champion. I adore you,” she wrote. “@GavinDeGraw bless your heart for carrying me down those stairs!”

On Tuesday morning, a rep for Melissa confirmed to Access Hollywood that she hit her during her performance.
