Melissa Joan Hart ‘Dancing’ Blog: 11/20/09… ‘Exhausted!’
I’m exhausted! My many weeks of endless dancing and press obligations piled on top of other business. And let’s not forget… mommy responsibilities! After seeing Kelly and Mya today in rehearsal, however, I realize that I have nothing whatsoever to complain about. They are beyond Dance Fever and into a Dance Trance, I would say. Their sweet personas are gone and they have become zombie-like competitors who see straight.

Joey Lawrence: Second Daughter On The Way
Joey Lawrence has another daughter on the way, the actor confirmed to People.
“I am Estrogen Man,” he laughed to the mag. “I’m from a family of all boys, and when I told my best friend Dave that my wife and I were having a second girl, he said, ‘Look at you, my best buddy Estrogen Man!’”

Melissa Joan Hart’s ‘Dancing’ Blog: ‘The Ride Ends For Me’ (11/2/09)
The ride ends for me. Since I started this journey almost 12 weeks ago, I have hardly been able to think of anything but dancing and competition and staying in shape. And now that it is over, I still can’t think of anything except dancing and the competition, but I am thrilled to be home with my family and have my feet up resting.

Melissa Joan Hart’s ‘Dancing’ Blog (10/26/09): ‘7 Down, 8 To Go’
7 down, 8 to go.
Last week’s loss of Natalie was truly shocking to the entire cast. She had grace and elegance as well as abs of steel. I thought she was going to make it into the finale. I guess that goes to show that this is so much more than a dance competition. As the weeks pass, I am growing more mindful of the fact that the audience has the ultimate say in who stays and who goes, no matter what scores grumpy judges throw out. It’s pretty obvious that the folks at home would much rather see a big, genuine smile than a perfect developed dance.

Melissa’s ‘Dancing’ Blog (10/19/09) – Halfway Through!
Another week, another dance (or two in this case). I have made it halfway through this show and I am loving it. We had a fabulous time last week with our Charleston. It was such a fun dance and I felt right at home with it. I was floating on a cloud from the time I performed until the beginning of our Hustle practice on Wednesday morning. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful week and to feel as high as a kite for a short time during this experience. I was starting to think I would never see a 10 paddle in my dancing career so it was definitely lovely to have that acknowledgment for all this hard work.

Melissa Joan Hart’s ‘Dancing’ Blog: ‘Every Monday Gets Better & Better’ (10/12/09)
Every Monday gets better and better!
I’m feeling so much more at home on this big stage, with this big band and with these fancy costumes.
This week I am a lucky girl and get to dance the good old-fashioned Charleston for all to see! I have always dreamt of being a flapper in the Roaring ‘20s and today I get to play that part. Our dance is fast and furious but so fun and silly that it totally suits my personality.

Melissa Joan Hart’s ‘Dancing’ Blog: ‘Here We Go Again’ (10/5/09)
Here we are again, in the glam trailer getting beautified. Today being Latin day at DWTS, the spray tans and big hair are intense. The atmosphere here seems more playful and I think there are numerous reasons for that. We are forming friendships, which makes it nicer to be here, especially since we are all away from family and friends for long hours at a time, and it has given us a common ground to form a bond.

Melissa Joan Hart’s ‘Dancing’ Blog: Getting Ready ‘To Shake My Maracas’ For Week 3
Sore is the best way to describe this week so far…
This next week is going to be interesting in a whole new way. While the jive was fast and furious and the audience got to see the all-American girl in me, this week I have to become a sultry, sexy Brazilian with hips that can turn on a dime. That is a side I haven’t often shared with the public; a few sassy magazine photos aside. But still shots are a far cry from moving ones!
