Melissa Rycroft Scared To Face Shawn Johnson, Gilles Marini Again On Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars

Melissa Rycroft came in third on Season 8 of “Dancing with the Stars,” missing out on the top two spots to co-competitors Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini.

Now, the reality star will face off against the pair yet again on “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” – and Melissa said she finds it just as nerve-racking the second time around.

“Two of them have beat me already – let’s just say that,” Melissa, 29, told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman of her fellow “All-Stars” competitors in an interview on Friday. “I’ve already lost to two of the people I’m competing against again… it is very intimidating.

“It’s scary and intimidating all around, but I think it’s going to be fun,” she added with a smile.

While she’ll be competing against some of the same faces from her initial try in 2009, the “Bachelor Pad” host’s family life has changed significantly, as the bubbly brunette is now married with an 18-month-old daughter.

“One of the first things we decided is that [husband] Tye [Strickland] and [baby] Ava are going to move out to California with me. So we’re all going to be together,” Melissa explained, when asked how she plans to balance grueling rehearsal schedules with her new family life. “But it is going to be interesting to see — come hour eight of practice — if I’m really focused or if I’m looking at my partner going, ‘I think I’m ready to go home. I need to go see my child, my husband.’ I don’t know.”

Adding, “The great thing about this season though is that most people have babies, and they’re all kind of around the same age.”

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” premieres on Monday, September 24 at 8/7c on ABC.
