Thomas, who starred in more episodes of the original series than any of his fellow cast members, will reportedly play David Patterson’s father, played by actor played by Shaun Sipos.

Fans of the series had hoped original cast member Heather Locklear would return as advertising power-executive Amanda Woodward, but as previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, a rep for the actress confirmed she would not be taking part in the series reboot.

Laura and Thomas will join series newcomers Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Katie Cassidy and Michael Rady, who have already been cast in the CW show, which is slated to debut in the fall.
