Michael Buble Confirms Duet With Reese Witherspoon

Michael Buble will have a very special guest on his upcoming album—actress (and now apparently singer) Reese Witherspoon.

Confirming previous reports that first surfaced in October, the 37-year-old Canadian crooner confirmed the duet in a new interview with UK TV show “Daybreak.

“By all accounts it would be true,” he said. “I just really am a big fan, and so myself and my camp, we wanted to do this with her, and we were thrilled that she was excited about it too.”

While she’s best known for her acting chops, Reese is not a total stranger to singing.

The actress took voice lesson seven years ago to prepare for her Oscar-winning role of country singer June Carter in the 2005 film “Walk the Line,” and although she told MTV News that recording the album for the film was one of “the most challenging and horrifying experiences in [her] life,” it seems like the mother of three is ready to show off her vocals once more.

The song will appear on Michael’s upcoming sixth album, due out in 2013.
