Michael Emerson Drama Heading To CBS

Michael Emerson is reuniting with J.J. Abrams on a new pilot for CBS.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project, produced by J.J. Abrams, who created “Lost,” will be called “Person of Interest.”

The drama will see Emerson, who played Benjamin Linus on “Lost,” playing a billionaire who tries to stop violent crimes with a former CIA agent, THR reported.

The new show is a change from what was expected from the actor. Late last year, a rep for NBC confirmed to Access that the peacock had secured the rights to an Emerson/Terry O’Quinn show, which was in development at the time, and was bringing Emerson back together with his “Lost” pal.
