Michael Jackson’s Brother Claims Siblings, Parents Weren’t Invited To Grammys

Michael Jackson’s children may have attended the Grammys on Sunday to accept his lifetime achievement award, but according to one of the late superstar’s brothers, not all of the Jacksons were invited at the event.

“So proud, my brother being honored 2nite w/the Lifetime Achievement Award. My family would love to be there but truth is, we weren’t invited,” Randy Jackson wrote on his official Twitter page on Sunday night.

Randy went on to claim the Jackson siblings and parents didn’t receive Grammy invites.

“Let me be clear, when I said ‘My family’ I meant my brothers, sisters & parents,” he Tweeted.

But a source close to the Grammys previously told Access Hollywood that Jackson family matriarch Katherine was at the event, accompanying her grandchildren, Prince Michael I, Paris and Blanket. Prince Michael and Paris took the stage at Staples Center to accept their father’s award following an emotional performance of “Earth Song” by Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Usher and Smokey Robinson.

A rep for the Grammys was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood.
