“We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves,” the 70-year-old said, of Scott. “She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.”

The music icon said he is finding some solace in the support he’s received following his girlfriend’s death.

“I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received,” he wrote.

Adding, “I will never forget her.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Scott, a fashion designer and celebrity stylist, died of a possible suicide. She was 49.

Also on Monday, a rep for Jagger shot down a report that the rocker had split with Scott prior to her death.

“The story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L’Wren Scott is 100 percent untrue. There is absolutely no basis in fact to this story. It is a horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick,” the rep said in a statement to Access at the time.
