Mike Tyson Talks ‘Hangover 2’: Elephants In Thailand & Being Kept Away From President Clinton

Bartender, keep ‘em coming! Mike Tyson is ready for another “Hangover.”

The former boxing champ is rejoining his box office buddies for “The Hangover 2,” and Tyson told Access Hollywood during the Discovery Channel’s TCA presentation on Thursday in Pasadena, Calif., that filming in Thailand was a wild experience.

“Yeah, it was pretty interesting this time,” Tyson explained. “I’m in Thailand, we’re driving the car right from the airport and then we stop at this – it appeared to be a light… and a big ol’ elephant pulls out. I’m like, ‘Whoa!’

“Better be careful for the elephants!” he laughed.

Tyson – who who was promoting his new Animal Planet series “Taking on Tyson” (CLICK HERE to read about Tyson’s TV pigeon passion!) – made quite a splash in the first “Hangover,” and was more than happy to go another round with Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha.

“After [the first film], they said, ‘We’re all coming back.’ I was just happy because when I came back, the only thing they kept saying, everybody asked me, ‘Will Mike be in the movie?’” the boxer continued. “I was just very happy that [director Todd Phillips] put me back in. He didn’t have to. I based my whole objecting this go-around just to be of service, you know? Be of service and just be grateful.”

Of course, Tyson won’t be the only celebrity cameo joining the fray for the sequel. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, not only will Liam Neeson have a small part (replacing Mel Gibson), but also former President Bill Clinton.

Unfortunately, Tyson said, he didn’t have the opportunity to work with the former Commander in Chief.

“I didn’t get a chance to meet President Clinton, but that would’ve been interesting,” Tyson told Access. “They keep me away from those kinds of people. We keep Mike over here, we keep the President over here. You know, we don’t know what might go on!”

Catch Tyson, Clinton and the rest of the gang when “The Hangover 2” hits theaters on May 26, 2011.
