Miles Teller To Play Dan Aykroyd In John Belushi Biopic?

Miles Teller could soon have some big comedy shoes to fill.

The actor, known for his role in “The Spectacular Now” and the upcoming “That Awkward Moment,” could be playing Dan Aykroyd in the upcoming John Belushi biopic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emile Hirsch – who is starring as the late Belushi in the project – made the announcement at a Sundance party for the Creative Coalition on Saturday.

“A shout-out to Miles Teller!” the actor told the crowd. “We’re going to be working together soon. He’s playing Dan Aykroyd in the Belushi movie.”

However, reps for Miles told THR that he has been offered the role, but has yet to make any future commitments until after Sundance and he’s done promoting upcoming “That Awkward Moment,” which also stars Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan.

Miles will also be seen in the upcoming and highly anticipated “Divergent,” with Shailene Woodley, which hits theaters on March 21.
