Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have ended their engagement, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
The young stars – Miley is 20, while Liam is 23 – began dating after meeting on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009.
The couple confirmed their engagement in June 2012.

Their last red carpet appearance together as a couple was at Liam’s “Paranoia” premiere in August 2013.
Recently, Miley followed up her headline-making performance at the MTV Video Music Awards with stops around the globe promoting her new album, “Bangerz,” with Liam nowhere in sight.

Liam turned up last week – sans Miley — on the red carpet at the “Rush” premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival to support his older brother, Chris Hemsworth.
Rumors continued to heat up that their relationship was over when Miley unfollowed Liam on Twitter last week.
