Miley Cyrus Talks Young Carrie Bradshaw Role, Stays Mum On New Rumored New Guy

Miley Cyrus as a young Carrie Bradshaw in the “Sex and The City” prequel?… the 18-year-old star sure hopes so!

Casting rumors have run rampant about who might play the young Carrie Bradshaw in “The Carrie Diaries,” and Miley confirmed that she would like to be considered for the role.

Access Hollywood caught up with the actress at Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” premiere on Monday night in Los Angeles and asked about the coveted role that Sarah Jessica Parker first brought to life.

“I would love it,” Miley told Access. “I’m not attached, so I don’t want to say that, but that would be very cool.”

On her latest project, “So Undercover,” Miley said she bonded with co-star Kelly Osbourne.

“That was really fun getting to work with her. It’s cool if you go to a location, you gotta actually have someone that you’re… friends with more than just going away…being by yourself, you gotta have a friend with you,” she explained.

As for the rumored new man in her life – “So Undercover” costar Josh Bowman, who has also previously been linked to Amy Winehouse – Miley remained mum.

“Can you tell me about this very handsome man?” an Access producer asked, showing her a parking of them cuddling in Griffith Park in LA over the weekend.

“I love you, [I’m going to] pull myself away, Goodbye,” she added.

In more “The Carrie Diaries” news, TooFab.com reported that rumors of Blake Lively playing Carrie are not true, according to the “Gossip Girl” actress’s rep.
