Miley Cyrus ‘Unplugged’: Top 5 Moments

Miley Cyrus’ “MTV Unplugged” aired on Wednesday night and the show cemented the fact that she can’t stop, she won’t stop, and she certainly can’t be tamed.

AccessHollywood.com counts down our top 5 moments from “Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged”:

Brangin’ The Country Back, Y’all!: The evening was rife with nods to Miley’s country, Nashville roots. The “Adore” singer rocked several cowgirl ensembles – complete with rhinestone-embellished detailing, because, yes. Billy Ray’s pride and joy kicked off the evening in red and white gingham suit with white western boots (and a blond bob wig)!

Faux-Equestrian Twerk Sesh: Forget Katy Perry’s half-hearted attempt to conjure a dead (dark) horse at her Grammys performance, Miley straight up ground on one! The 21-year-old got all up on a “horse” (comprised of two dancers) during her country-tinged version of “4×4.” Giddy up, e’erbody!

The Obligatory Pot Reference: “Today was one of those days that was pretty easy to get out of bed — I get to perform with Madonna in bedazzled cowboy boots. I can’t really complain about anything,” she told the crowd. “Well, I can’t perform when I’m stoned. That’s one thing to complain about, I guess!”

Ode To Godmother Dolly: Miley honored her legendary godmother, Dolly Parton, by singing her famed hit “Jolene.” “I really want to take you back home to where I’m from,” Miley told the crowd, clad in a denim bikini top and pants, before launching into a toe-tapping rendition of Dolly’s song.

Spanking Madonna: Madge has apparently been a very, very naughty girl… clad in matching cowgirl hats, Miley and Madonna performed a mashup of “Don’t Tell Me” and “We Can’t Stop.” Both pop stars stuck their tongues out, a la Miley, then the pop princess proceeded to smack the pop queen on the booty. “That was pretty f–king cool, you guys,” Miley told the audience following the performance.
