Miranda Cosgrove Talks ‘Cute’ College Boys & Life After iCarly

Miranda Cosgrove left “iCarly” behind when the show ended last fall, and the actress says adjusting to life after the Nickelodeon hit took some time.

“It was definitely weird,” Miranda, who voices Margo in “Despicable Me 2,” told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live. “It was strange to not be there all the time.”

The 20-year-old actress just finished her first year of college at the University of Southern California and said she keeps a pretty low profile at the famed Los Angeles school.

“I went to one party at a frat house… it was kind of insane,” she said, adding that she lives off campus and only has a few friends who are in sororities, although she did admit the campus offers “a lot of cute boys!”

As for her concentrated area of study, Miranda said she plans to “major in film.”

“I’m taking a bunch of film classes,” she said of her current workload. “And [I’m] watching a lot of movies and [taking] screenwriting classes.”

“Despicable Me 2” hits theaters on July 3.
