Miranda
Lambert is home for the holidays!
The country
superstar returned to her Texas stomping grounds on Wednesday to kick off
Thanksgiving festivities, and shared a peek at the welcome wagon that greeted
her arrival.
“Nothing
beats a handwritten note from Mom,” Miranda wrote, captioning an Instagram
snap of a personalized care package left for her on the kitchen counter.

In addition
to a sweet “Welcome Home” card from her mom, Beverly, the goodies
included three bottles of red wine, a vase of flowers and – perhaps most
importantly – a basket of snacks with Cheetos tucked inside.
According to
CMT, the crunchy treats are a favorite of Miranda’s — but also a potential
diet disaster.

“I didn’t really give up a lot, just Cheetos
mostly,” she told reporters at the 2013 CMA Awards of her slim-down
secret. “I might have some tonight just to celebrate.”
Miranda got
candid at this year’s CMA ceremony as well.
While
accepting her sixth consecutive Female Vocalist of the year trophy, the 31-year-old
said the win was a welcome moment of joy.
“I
needed a bright spot this year,” she said from the stage.

As
previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Miranda split from husband Blake
Shelton in July after four years of marriage. He and his fellow “Voice”
coach Gwen Stefani confirmed their romance on Nov. 4 — just hours before the
CMAs.
