“The X-Files” cast is growing.
Walter Skinner, the FBI Assistant Director played by Mitch Pileggi, will appear in the event series for Fox.

In late March, Fox made the announcement that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny were stepping back into the shoes of Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. Creator/Executive Producer Chris Carter is helming the series again for its six-episode run.
No premiere date has been set for the show.
