MTV Shoots Down ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Replacement Rumors: We ‘Have No Plans To Recast’

Are Snooki, Pauly D, JWOWW and the rest of the gang finished with “Jersey Shore”?

Multiple online reports surfaced Friday claiming that the cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” would be replaced following the show’s fifth season.

However, MTV has denied these reports.

“We love the present cast, and their summer adventures have just begun,” a spokesperson for the network told Access Hollywood on Friday. “We currently have no plans to recast the show.”

If MTV were to recast, the network would likely stand to save bundles of cash — as the current cast reportedly earns $100,000 per episode, according to Us Weekly.

However the casting shakes out for future seasons of the hit MTV series, the network will continue to benefit from the colorful cast as MTV has already inked deals with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio for “Jersey Shore” spinoff shows.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the party-loving fist-pumpers jetted to Florence, Italy to film the show’s fourth season.
