Nadia G’s ‘Bitchin’ Girls’ Night In Recipes

Cooking Channel’s Nadia G is known for her saucy attitude and devilishly fun eats. The Bitchin’ Kitchen chef stopped by Access Hollywood Live with recipes for a girls night in and one for the guys who want little something to eat before they hit the town.

Girl’s Night In Bacon Chocolates

(makes 24 chocolates)

Ingredients:

6 slices maple-cured bacon

2 cups milk chocolate, roughly chopped

1/2 cup cripsed rice cereal

Fleur de sel

Directions: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and render until crip. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
Melt the chocolate on the top of a double boiler over medium heat. Remove from the heat when the chocolate is 80-percent
melted and continue stirring until fully melted. Stir in the bacon, and then gently fold in the crisped rice cereal. Pour the mixture
into silicone molds, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Unmold and sprinkle with fleur de sel.

Boy’s Night Out Filet Mignon Tacos w/Balsamic Syrup

(makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:

4 steaks at room temperature

2 lbs steak seasoning

3 tbs. of canola oil

Corn tortillas

Butter lettuce

Sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, roughly chopped

Directions: To make the filet mignon: Season the steaks with a pinch of steak spice. Heat the canola oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat until almost smoking. Add the steaks to the hot pan. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the steaks for another 2 minutes. per side. Tent the cooked steaks in aluminum foil and let them rest for 10 minutes. Remove tent, slice thinly against the grain. Serve in corn tortilla & top with butter lettuce & sun-dried tomatoes.

Balsamic Syrup

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of aged balsamic vinegar

Maple syrup

Directions:
To make the balsamic syrup: Heat a pan on medium-high heat, add equal parts maple syrup and balsamic vinegar, and stir for 3 – 5 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and slightly reduced. Serve immediately, drizzled over the filet mignon.
