Nancy O’Dell Welcomes Baby Ashby Into The World

Nancy O’Dell has given birth.

Our co-host and her husband, Keith, welcomed baby Ashby Grace Zubchevich into the world just a few hours ago at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The little bundle of heavenly joy weighed in at 7lbs 9oz and she measured a whopping 22 inches long.

Mother, father and the newest member of Access Hollywood – baby Ashby, are doing well.

Coincidentally, Ashby shares her birthday with Nancy’s father Leonard who is also a June 11 baby.

Nancy and Keith would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

Regular watchers of Access Hollywood know that the dual-gendered name, Ashby, comes from Nancy’s beloved grandfather. Grace is a family name from Keith’s side of the family. The couple discussed early on in their relationship that if they had a baby girl together they would include Grace in part of her name, as O’Dell’s parents were married at Grace United Methodist Church.

This is O’Dell’s fist time giving birth, but she has practice as a mother already– she has two stepsons Tyler, 11, and Carson, 8, from Zubchevich’s previous marriage.

“We are beyond elated and look forward to appreciating today and every beautiful day to come with our new daughter,” Nancy said. “It is even more special given she is named after her great-grandfather and was born on my father’s birthday. She made for quite a birthday present to her new grandfather. Also, I love epidurals.”
