VOTE: Is Portman a good choice to play Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis?

Portman is reportedly intrigued by the script, but will not officially sign on for the film until a director is chosen for the project, according to Deadline.

The actress’ “Black Swan” director, Darren Aronofsky was originally attached to direct “Jackie” alongside his then-partner, Rachel Weisz, but dropped out after he and Weisz split in 2010.

Steven Spielberg was also rumored to be interested in project back in 2010.
