Neil Patrick Harris On The Perks Of Attending The Grammys As An Actor

The Grammys isn’t just a big night for musical stars. It’s also a blast for CBS stars, who often attend because the show airs on their network.

“It’s fun. I’m not in the music world, but I am on CBS, so I get to like, present,” Neil Patrick Harris, from CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet at the Grammys.

Other bonuses for CBS stars like Neil, Pauley Perrette of “N.C.I.S.” and Kat Dennings from “Two Broke Girls” who all attended the awards show? A great view of the stage.

“I get to sit in the good seats and I get to look around and go, ‘Oh, that’s the guy who sang that good song!’ I’m excited,” Neil said. “I’m a big fan of fun., I’m a big fan of Kelly Clarkson, I can’t wait to hear her sing.”

Neil joked he had some additional fun in store for his evening.

“I have a flask in my pocket, filled with absinthe. It’s going to be a crazy night,” he laughed.
