Netflix Releases First Official ‘Fuller House’ Photos

“Fuller
House” has officially opened its doors.

Netflix
released the first photos from its anticipated spin-off series on Thursday,
giving fans a sneak peek at returning cast favorites as well as a new
generation of Tanners joining the family legacy.

Another snap

Massity as the young children of Candace and Andrea’s characters.

The
revival will center on eldest Tanner daughter and recent widow D.J. (Candace),
whose sister, Stephanie (Jodie), and best friend, Kimmy (Andrea), help her
raise her three young boys.

If
the format sounds familiar, it should. Jodie told Access Hollywood in September
that viewers can expect “Fuller House” to present much of what made
its ’90s predecessor such a hit while updating the story to fill viewers in on
what’s taken place over the last 20 years.

“We’ve been having a lot of fun. I think that ‘Full House’
fans are going to find that same familiarity with the new show,” she said.
“They’re going to be really excited, they’re going to love the writing.
It’s really funny and well done.”

Noticeably absent from the lineup are Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen, who declined the opportunity to reprise their dual role as youngest
Tanner daughter Michelle.

Lori Loughlin spoke to Access in June about the Olsens’
decision to leave their “Full House” days behind.

“I was disappointed, but everybody has their
reasons,” she said. “I love them so much and we’ll always love them
and they’ll always be part of the ‘Full House’ family.”

Netflix will
drop the entire debut season of “Fuller House” on Feb. 26.
