New Year’s Eve On TV: What To Watch?

LOS ANGELES (December 29, 2006) — Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts will be busy on New Year’s Eve, helping Carson Daly ring in the new year on NBC. Tony will be in Las Vegas and Carson in New York.

But that’s not the only New Year’s Eve special on TV.

What would New Year’s Eve be without Dick Clark and a beaming Ryan Seacrest?

The pair will celebrate in Times Square, co-hosting the 35th Annual “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007.” Special guest co-host Fergie will also be covering the events in Hollywood and will also perform.

NBC’s “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly” will have its own bash in Times Square, but for Carson, the real party begins after midnight.

“The minute we’re clear and the ball has dropped, I’ve got a beer very close by,” Daly joked with Access.

Meanwhile over on FOX, “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley will ring in 2007 with performances by Toni Braxton and Daughtry.

But the fun doesn’t end there.

On New Year’s Day, Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell and Billy Bush are co-hosting the Tournament of Roses parade on NBC.
