After fooling his Twitter followers last week with a fake labor Tweet, Nick Cannon told Access Hollywood that he and wife Mariah Carey are ready for the arrival of the twins – which could “happen at any moment.”
“I pulled a big April Fool’s [joke.] I told everybody that my wife was going in labor and now everyone hates me for that,” Nick told Access at Nickelodeon’s 24th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. “It was a good joke though, it was the year’s best April Fool’s prank.”
All jokes aside, the star said when the actual time comes, he and Mariah are ready.
“It’s twins, so it can happen at any moment,” he explained. “So, we’re prepared — the bags are packed.”
In addition to having his bags packed, the star was packing multiple phones at the award show.
“I got like four phones on me right now, they ring, I’m out of here,” he added.
Mariah and Nick first announced their pregnancy to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush back in October.
