Nick Hogan Sentenced To Eight Months In Jail

Nick Hogan has been sent to jail for eight months after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving.

Hogan was out in his yellow Toyota in August 2007, with his friend, John Graziano, when he crashed the vehicle.

Graziano remains in critical condition, nine months later.

Hogan was led away by authorities immediately following the sentencing and taken into custody.

Testimony showed he had several instances of high speed driving, including drunk driving, but the 17-year-old has no criminal record.

In addition to the eight months of incarceration, Hogan must serve five years of probation, which will include 500 hours of community service.

The judge discouraged the reality TV star of “Hogan Knows Best” from including speaking engagements that will garner him “publicity” in his community service hours.

Hogan’s driver’s license has been suspended and revoked for three years.

He has been banned from drinking alcohol for five years, the judge ordered.

Hogan has also been ordered to pay court costs.

According to NBC News, it appears a civil suit will be filed from the family of Graziano.
