Nick Viall has been named the new
“Bachelor”

The “Bachelorette” alum, who
was runner-up on two seasons of the show (Kaitlyn Bristowe and Andi Dorfman’s
seasons), will now begin his own search for love on ABC.

“I’m very excited. I’m more
nervous. I’m very excited,” Nick said on Tuesday night’s “Bachelor in Paradise: After
Paradise.”

Nick, who is currently on “Bachelor in Paradise,” said he is looking forward to having another shot at finding love.

“I’m definitely ready for it. I’m very excited,” he said on the show. “I’ve had an interesting journey throughout this process, it hasn’t worked out so far and hopefully this time around maybe things will end up on a more positive note.”

One thing that won’t be turning out for Nick is his current romance with Jen Saviano on “Bachelor in Paradise.”

“Jen is an amazing woman, one of the best, and you’ll have to watch to see how it ends,” he told “After Paradise” hosts Sean Lowe and Michelle Collins.

He did confirm the two “don’t end up together,” an obvious conclusion considering he’s about to start a new search for love on “The Bachelor.”

Nick’s season of “The Bachelor” will premiere in January 2017, and he can’t wait for his new journey to begin.

“I think it’s going to be great. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m very nervous, but I can’t be more excited about the possibility of it actually all working out,” he said.
