Did a love connection emerge when DJ Pauly D interviewed Nicki Minaj on the 2011 Grammys red carpet?
Quite possibly!
Before they met up, Access Hollywood guest correspondent Pauly direct Tweeted Nicki, asking her to be his Valentine.
“OMG, this is the blackest Italian I’ve ever met,” Nicki said when she made it to Access Hollywood’s platform on the Grammys red carpet, where Pauly was covering the action alongside Access’ Billy Bush. “We think he is black and I need to see your DNA.”
Pauly then asked Nicki in person if she’d be his valentine.
“Are you gonna be in LA? Let’s do it Pauly, let’s do it,” she replied.
Adding, “I love your show.”
Proving she was a true “Jersey Shore” fan, she then had some questions for the star about Ronnie’s treatment of Sammi on last week’s episode.
“Why did he do that to her stuff?” Nicki wanted to know of the “Shore’s” perennially tumultuous couple. “I’m gonna hurt him when I see him.”
The conversation then turned to Nicki’s plentiful assets.
“I purposely have my boobs out for you [guys] today,” Nicki told Pauly and Billy Bush, adding in that her leopard-inspired dress for the night was by Givenchy.
“In the Olympics of bootys,” Billy explained. “It’s you Kim Kardashian and J.Lo,” before he and Pauly sang B.o.B.‘s “Nothin’ On You” to the hip-hop diva.
Billy then tried to touch the hair, which Nicki said was a big no-no.
“You’re officially cut off of Barbie nation,” Nicki said, flirtatiously.
