Nicole & Keith’s Wedding Plans

(June 16, 2006) — It looks like Nicole Kidman is about to become a June bride, as reports have Nicole and Keith Urban on their way home to Australia for the big day.

According to Australian newspapers, Nicole and Keith (who?s been voted country music?s sexiest bachelor) left Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday. The couple will make a quick stop in Shanghai for the film festival on Saturday and then on to Australia for their highly anticipated wedding next Sunday.

Nicole?s children Connor and Isabella (from ex Tom Cruise) are scheduled to fly into Sydney within the week.

Nicole, who turns 39 next week, is expected to hold the traditional black tie ceremony at the Mary McKillop chapel in Sydney. And the actress is leaving nothing to chance, reportedly flying in her fashion team including hair, make-up and stylist.

And what about the wedding dress?

It?s a stunning one-of-a-kind gown from Balenciaga, the same designer who dressed her for this year?s Oscars.

Two hundred guests are expected to attend, including some of Nicole?s famous friends ? Russell Crowe, Naomi Watts and Hugh Jackman.

As far as the honeymoon, Nicole and Keith will spend one night in Sydney before heading to the Fiji Islands where Nicole has reserved the entire Wakaya resort, where prices range from $1,900 – $7,600 a night for one of their ten bungalows. And with the newlyweds planning to reserve the entire resort ? we?ll let you do the math.

Conde Nast Traveler magazine?s senior editor Ondine Cohane said this won?t be the first time Nicole has paid them a visit.

?It was one of Tom and Nicole?s favorite places and she says it?s her favorite place to travel to in the whole world,? Cohane told Access.

Ironically, this is the same resort where Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards supposedly fell out of a coconut tree.
