Nicole Kidman Exits Woody Allen Film Due To Scheduling Conflict

Nicole Kidman has left director Woody Allen in need of a new actress.

Nicole has exited the director’s next movie which is set to co-star Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto, a rep for the actress confirmed to AccessHollywood.com.

The rep tells Access that Nicole had to leave the project due to a scheduling conflict with the big screen adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Broadway play “Rabbit Hole,” in which Nicole is starring and she is producing.

The rep added that Nicole looks forward to working with Woody in the future.

According to Variety, who first reported the news of Nicole’s departure, a replacement actress has yet to be announced. The film is slated to begin filming this summer in London.

Even though Nicole now won’t be working with “Slumdog Millionaire” star Freida Pinto, as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, she can currently be seen with “Slumdog’s” Rubina Ali in a new French spot for Schweppes drinks.
