After Joel Madden gets done deejaying inside the Academy Awards on Sunday night, his fiancee Nicole Richie has big plans for the newly engaged couple – a wedding!
“It’s tomorrow!” Nicole joked with Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet, after the E! host inquired about the couple’s nuptial plans.
“I was actually thinking it would be cool to do it here,” Joel added.
Nicole and Joel – who have been dating since 2006 and have two children together – announced their engagement last month.
But now that they’re engaged, are they planning to rush down the aisle?
“Like our engagement, we’re kind of doing it at our own pace. We have no idea right now,” Joel told Ryan.
“Like he has any say!” Nicole smiled.
As for what Joel has planned for inside the awards show as house DJ, he revealed he’ll be going with the classics.
“I’m doing a lot of old school, Motown. I’m doing Sam Cook, The Platters, some Michael Jackson,” he said. “And of course, I’m going to do some Lionel Richie.”
