*NSYNC Reunion Happening At ‘Saturday Night Live’ 40th Anniversary Show

The “SNL” 40th anniversary show continues to get us more and more excited!

In addition to an amazing roster of returning alumni and former celebrity hosts, there will be a boy band reunion on Sunday night’s extra-long anniversary show.

*NSYNC will be in attendance at “Saturday Night Live” on Sunday, NBC confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Unfortunately for *NSYNC fans, it doesn’t appear the group will be performing.

When asked by a Twitter user if there would be an *NSYNC performance on the show, Lance Bass replied, “There will not be- but can’t wait to see this show!”

When pressed as to why the group wouldn’t be back in front of the mic, Lance Tweeted, “You’ll have to ask Lorne Michaels.”

Former *NSYNC-er Justin Timberlake, who is a member of the show’s prestigious five-timers club, previously announced he will be a part of Sunday’s extravaganza via an Instagram photo on Wednesday.

“Writing session for #SNL40. @jimmyfallon is onto something funny… We think,” he captioned the photo of himself with Jimmy and Paula Pell.

“Saturday Night Live’s” 40th anniversary special airs on February 15 at 8 PM ET on NBC.
