Oddsmaker Labels Cheslea Kane & Hines Ward As ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Favorites

Eleven new “Stars” will hit the ballroom on Monday night on ABC, for the Season 12 premiere of “Dancing with the Stars,” but as far as one oddsmaker is concerned, the race for the mirrorball trophy is already down to just two.

Disney darling Chelsea Kane and NFL star Hines Ward have been tapped as the early favorites to waltz their way to victory, according to the folks at BetUs.com.

Both Chelsea, who is partnered with two-time champ Mark Ballas, and Hines, who is teaming up with Kym Johnson, have been named 4-to-1 favorites to win this season.

“Chelsea Kane is more recognized for her voice of Bea on Disney Channel’s ‘Fish Hooks’ than for her web-series ‘The Homes,’ but after ‘DWTS,’ it might be her legs,” the online betting site noted in a press release.

Although he is listed with equal odds, likely a testament to the success other NFL players have had on the show, BetUs.com thinks Hines’ partner could prove to be his downfall.

“Despite her talented co-star, I don’t see Ward winning this season,” the site said of Kym Johnson.

Not far behind the two front-runners, former “Girl Next Door” Kendra Wilkinson has been given 5-to-1 odds to be crowned “Dancing” champ, while boxing icon Sugar Ray Leonard is listed as a 5.5-to-1 contender.

Despite having worse odds than Chelsea and Hines, Sugar Ray is actually the site’s pick to win the reality competition.

“He’ll be with super-sexy Anna Trebunskaya and despite the fact she’ll tower over the Champ, how can you not love a boxer when it comes to footwork?” the site proposed.

The site is predicting that the final three will actually be Chelsea, Sugar Ray and pro wrestler Chris Jericho (partnered with two-time champ Cheryl Burke), who is listed as a 9-to-1 favorite to win.

The original “Karate Kid” Ralph Macchio is facing 4.5-to-1 odds to win; outspoken actress Kirstie Alley has been given 7-to-1 odds; R&B artist Romeo is listed at 10-to-1, as well as wild TV talker Wendy Williams; and supermodel Petra Nemcova is currently listed at 12-to-1 odds to win this season.

The biggest underdog this season? That would be “Loveline” host “Psycho” Mike Catherwood, who the site tapped as an 18-to-1 favorite to win.
