Orange Is The New Black: Laura Prepon – ‘I’m Definitely Coming Back For Season 2’

Alex Vause will be rocking her Litchfield jumpsuit for a bit longer.

After weeks of reports claiming Laura Prepon will have a very limited role in “Orange is the New Black” Season 2, the actress has stated she will be a part of it.

“It’s an amazing show, and my character is a total badass,” Laura told Us Weekly on Friday.

While the former “That ‘70s Show” star didn’t give a clear answer as to how many more “OITNB” episodes she’ll actually appear in, she did shoot down reports claiming she no longer wanted to play the former drug runner/Piper Chapman’s (Taylor Schilling) ex-girlfriend.

“I don’t want to stop playing her because she is amazing,” she said. “But I’m definitely coming back for Season 2, and it’s going to be awesome.”

And the viewer love for Alex hasn’t gone unnoticed by the 33-year-old beauty.

“The fan support for my character has just been above and beyond what we expected and it’s so appreciated,” she said.

“Orange is the New Black” Season 2 is currently in production and is expected to premiere in Spring 2014.
