Starz’s “Outlander” is gearing up for two big events during Comic-Con
The new drama, from Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore, will have a red carpet premiere event during the famed San Diego convention this July.
Cast members Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), Caitriona Balfe (Claire Beauchamp Randall), Tobias Menzies (Frank Randall/Black Jack Randall), Graham McTavish (Dougal McKenzie) and Lotte Verbeek (Geillis Duncan), will join their executive producer as well as best-selling “Outlander” book series author Diana Gabaldon, on Friday July 25, for red carpet premiere gala. They will also do a panel session.

The series follows Caitriona’s Claire, a World War II nurse, who heads to Scotland with her husband, Frank (Tobias), following the war, to reconnect.
During their lovers’ getaway, she is mysteriously swept back in time to the 1740s, where she finds an ally in Scottish Highlander Jamie (Sam).

“Outlander” premieres August 9 at 9 PM on Starz.
