Pamela Anderson Poses For Her 14th Playboy Cover; Will Donate Proceeds To Charity

Blond bombshell Pamela Anderson is set to grace the cover of Playboy again – this time for a good cause.

The 43-year-old former “Baywatch” babe and “Dancing with the Stars” contender broke the news on her official website on Friday, writing, “I’ve just shot another Playboy cover that will debut in January for Hef, at his request – I adore him. This will be my 14th U.S. Playboy cover.

“Playboy and I decided to do this, so I could donate earnings from the shoot to Waves for Water,” she continued. “It’s an amazing group that supplies water filters to countries that are in need of clean drinking water. It has already made a huge difference in Indonesia, Pakistan and Haiti.”

The Canadian mother of two, who is known for her work with animal rights advocate group PETA, seems excited to use her fame and … assets… to benefit the less fortunate.

“I’m so honored to work with Playboy again to support this life altering cause!” she added.

Playboy head honcho Hugh Hefner Tweeted about Pam’s shoot on Wednesday.

“Pamela Anderson is in the Mansion swimming pool, posing for the January cover in a tribute to ‘La Dolce Vita,’” he wrote, in reference to the classic 1960 Fellini film, in which actress Anita Ekbeg splashes about in Rome’s Trevi fountain in a sexy black gown.

Pam’s new Playboy pictorial will hit newsstands in January 2011.
