Following her split with Doug Reinhardt, Paris Hilton was spotted with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo just 24 hours later – but the starlet says they’re just “good friends” who are “getting to know each other.”
“He’s a very nice guy – and an incredible athlete,” Paris told Britain’s The Mirror, adding, “We’re getting to know each other and I have to leave it at that.”
And when the reality star was asked if she was dating the soccer stud, she told the paper, “Cristiano and I are good friends. Very good friends.”
The heiress shot down reports that the she deliberately sought out the soon-to-be Real Madrid player while he vacationed in LA, telling the paper, “That never happened.”
According to a Mirror source close to the duo, they have been busy staying in contact since parting ways, but said a serious relationship might not be happening right away.
“Paris has just got out of two serious relationships, so she might not be ready to jump straight into another one,” the source said. “But they have been texting and calling each other a lot. So, I wouldn’t be surprised”
