When she was released from jail last year, Paris Hilton pledged to do good in the world and make a trip to Africa.
It appears she made good on part of that promise, as she has now made it to South Africa.
Hilton was captured in photographs with her rocker boyfriend, Benji Madden, signing autographs for children and posing for photos.
The heiress is reportedly in the country while Madden’s band, Good Charlotte (which Benji is in with twin brother — and Nicole Richie’s baby daddy — Joel Madden), has a gig in the country.
Good Charlotte will perform Friday and Monday at the My Cokefest, a music festival which takes place in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
