Paris Jackson Addresses Memorial Crowd: Michael ‘Has Been The Best Father You Could Ever Imagine’

A heartbroken Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson, gave a moving speech to the thousands gathered at her father’s public memorial in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Shortly before the memorial, held at LA’s Staples Center, concluded Paris’ aunt Janet Jackson walked her up to the microphone and lowered it for the 11-year-old to make her first public address.

“I just wanted to say,” Paris said as she began to tear up.

“Speak up sweetheart, speak up,” a supportive Janet said, patting the young girl’s shoulder.

“Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine,” she said, choking back tears as she spoke. “I just want to say I love him so much.”

Paris then turned to Janet who embraced the girl.

Michael’s children – Prince Michael I, 12, Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, 7, and Paris — were then led off the Staples Center stage by the family.
