Pete & Ashlee Present Bronx Mowgli Wentz

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz sure didn’t turn to the mags for money this holiday season – instead, they premiered the first photo of their first born child on their Web site on Christmas Day!

The first picture of Bronx Mowgli Wentz, being cradled by mom and kissed by dad, showed up on their Web site – FriendsOrEnemies.com – in the form of a Holiday E-card.

“Happy Holidays to all of our friends! Love Pete, Ashlee and Bronx,” their greeting read.

“We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldn’t be happier. And in the spirit of the holidays, we’d like to encourage you to give on your own,” the card continued.

“Below is a list of worthwhile charities that need your support: TheIRC.com, RoomToGrow.org and RichieMaddenFoundation.com.”

As for using the name of one of New York City’s five boroughs to name their son, Pete wouldn’t budge on its origin, in an interview with Ryan Seacrest last month.

“We came up with the idea Bronx. We’ve been throwing [ideas] back and forth a while,” he said. “It’s kind of cool to just leave the narrative what it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever. And you’re like, you know what: I don’t think anyone really has the real story.”

Pete later told Details magazine that Ashlee’s pregnancy was, “A happy accident.”

Pete’s band’s (Fall Out Boy’s) latest album, “Folie a Deux” hit stores last week to critical praise.
