Pickler’s ‘Idol’ Secret?

“American Idol” was quite the learning experience for young Kellie Pickler.

With the fierce competition behind her, she hasn’t lost any of the innocence we all fell in love with.

“It was my time to go,” Kellie told us. “Actually, I thought I was going the week before! I already had my bags packed.”

Kellie’s bags were packed and she was ready to go, knowing her time was up! But despite not being the ultimate “Idol.”

Kellie was Simon’s “naughty little minx” on “Idol.”

“I’m a mink!” said Kellie, on the show.

“Minx,” Ryan exclaimed, on the show.

“Minx!” Kellie yelped.

For all the attention she’s been getting for her sweet, naive side, being in the spotlight is difficult when you have a father in prison for assault.

“It wasn’t something I was comfortable sharing,” Kellie said. “…it was embarrassing for me. I know it was probably embarrassing for him, but we’re so close, and I’m not ashamed of it anymore.”
