Pink Shuts Down Fat Shaming Trolls: I’m Healthy & ‘Crazy Strong’

What is going on in the world when Pink, who we’re pretty sure has less-than-1 percent body fat, gets body shamed on social media?!

The singer stepped out with her husband, Carey Hart, at the Odyssey Ball cancer benefit on Saturday night wearing an ankle-length black dress, which prompted Internet trolls to begin commenting on her weight.

After RTing multiple hateful messages from Twitter users, Pink put the trolls in their place with a lengthy note.

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight. You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you,” she Tweeted. “While I admit that that dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful.

“So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either :),” she continued. “I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off.”

The singer, who is mom to 3-year-old daughter Willow Sage, kept her sense of humor, concluding her message with, “Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake.”

And in case you’re wondering, Pink’s husband is more than happy with his wife’s body.
