‘Playing House’ First Look (Exclusive)

The ladies are back!

Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham, the duo behind NBC’s “Best Friends Forever,” return to the small screen this month with their new comedy, “Playing House,” and AccessHollywood.com has an exclusive first look at the show.

As childhood best friends, Maggie Caruso (Parham) and Emma Crawford (St. Clair), have a lifetime of fun memories together, but they’re about to embark on a whole new chapter after Maggie – who is pregnant – learns her husband (played by Brad Morris) has been cheating on her with an alarmingly muscular German woman.

Career-driven Emma gives up her growing business in China to return to her and Maggie’s small hometown in Connecticut to help her friend – and, of course, hilarity ensues as the pair adjust to their changing lives.

The show also stars “Key & Peele’s” Keegan-Michael Key, who plays Mark, a cop (and Emma’s first love), and former “Malcolm in the Middle” star Jane Kaczmarek as Emma’s mother. Zach Woods (a member of The Upright Citizens Brigade, like Parham and St. Clair) also stars.

In this exclusive first look at the comedy, Emma is stressing out over Maggie’s baby shower, while Zach is more focused on recent weight gain his thighs – check it out!

“Playing House” premieres Tuesday, April 29 at 10/9c on USA.
