Authorities in Miami, Fla. are investigating a complaint made by a female club-goer who claims she was touched inappropriately by former NBA star Dennis Rodman during the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to Miami Beach Police, authorities responded to a call at Club LIV on Collins Ave. early Thursday morning over an alleged simple battery.
Authorities released a statement that a woman claims “Dennis Rodman had grabbed her crotch area while at the bar.”
The investigation into the alleged incident is ongoing, authorities said.
According to the Offense Incident Report, obtained by Access Hollywood’s affiliate, WTVJ, the woman “appeared very distraught and upset” following the alleged incident.
Police are not actively looking for the ex-basketball player and have no plans to arrest him presently, authorities told WTVJ.
A rep for Rodman was not immediately available for comment.
