Kate and Pippa’s parents also met their newest grandchild.

William’s brother, Prince Harry, has yet to meet his niece (he’s currently in Australia), but said, “She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to meet her.”

William and Kate also issued a message of gratitude for the well-wishes they’ve received.

“The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world,” said the spokesperson. “It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kate gave birth to her and Prince William’s second child on Saturday at 8:34 AM, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

The baby girl weighed in at 8 lbs., 3 oz., and her name has yet to be revealed.
