Prince Harry: ‘I Would Love To Have Kids Right Now’

Is the Royal Bachelor ready to settle down?

In a new interview with Sky News, Prince Harry admitted he’d like to have a partner to “share the pressure” with, but doesn’t want to rush into anything.

“There come times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don’t think you can force these things,” he said. “It will happen when it’s going to happen.”

The 30-year-old Prince, who is currently on a month-long tour spending time with the Armed Forces in Australia and New Zealand, seems to have a knack with children, and has been photographed making numerous kids smile during his trip.

Does Harry want kids of his own?

“Of course, I’d love to have kids right now,” he said. “But there’s a process that one has to go through… hopefully I’m doing all right by myself, but it’d be great to have someone next to me to share the pressure. But the time will come. Whatever happens, happens.”

Speaking of kids, the Prince was sad to have missed the recent birth of his niece, Prince Charlotte.

While he didn’t see any of the news coverage, his brother, Prince William, kept him up to date via text.

“He sent me two photos – one before everyone else, which was nice – and then another one with her back at home with George,” he said, adding that he can’t wait to see his niece. “I’m so looking forward to seeing her, to meeting her and to holding her.

“She was a little bit late, so I missed [her arrival] – she’ll have to work on that!” he laughed. “Apart from that, it’s fantastic news.”
