Prince Harry Serenades Olympian Missy Franklin For Her 18th Birthday

It was a very happy birthday for Missy Franklin this year!

Prince Harry, along with a group of partygoers, joined in singing “Happy Birthday” to the Olympic swimming champ for her 18th birthday at a party in Colorado on Friday, People reported.

Missy – who took home four gold medals and one bronze at the 2012 London Olympics – was photographed grinning from ear to ear while chatting with the Prince, who teased her for missing silver at the games.

“So you went straight from bronze to gold? What about silver? You skipped that one,” he joked, according to the mag.

Missy was thrilled with her royal birthday guest and shared a photo of herself with Harry on her Instagram page.

“And the perfect way to end my 18th birthday!? Meeting Prince Harry!” she captioned the photo. “It was an honor meeting him and I had a blast as always.”

The handsome 28-year-old prince is in the U.S. for a week-long tour and will visit several states. He was in Colorado to attend this weekend’s Warrior Games, where 200 wounded service men and women from both the U.S. and Britain will participate in the sporting event.
